Meet the midwife
Hi! I’m Laura, a Minnesota licensed and nationally certified homebirth midwife serving Rochester and surrounding communities. Birthwork has been a calling for me that began both long before and with the birth of my own children born at home with midwives in upstate New York. Moving my young family back to our roots in Minnesota three decades ago continued my path to becoming a career midwife.
Pregnancy and birth at home
At Laura the Midwife I provide primary care midwifery services for birthing families in the Rochester area including complete prenatal, labor/birth and postpartum care of both parent and baby.
You and your baby
Your complete birth package includes primary care from early pregnancy through labor, birth and postpartum all within the comfort of your own home. Included are personalized care from your midwife, two midwives for your birth attendant team and all of the supplies you will need for your planned homebirth.

While my birth calendar is currently full from January through May of this year, I still have one opening in June and couple of openings in July and August available.
